Accounting Manager

Introduction

Blockdaemon is seeking an Accounting Manager to prepare and analyze the company’s financial records. This role will be responsible for executing a variety of financial procedures and analyzing corporate financial operations to ensure business efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reports and financial statements for overall company accounting and financial KPI tracking.
• Prepare financial statements to ensure transactions and consolidations are properly reflected and in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Prepare general ledger entries and provide proper supporting documentation for annual audits.
• Conduct various analyses and prepare metrics reporting, working with and supporting various departments.
• Support the selection and implementation of sales and balance management systems and tools, collaborating closely with teams across the company to meet evolving needs.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance or another related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in an accounting and/or finance role.
• Experience using Netsuite.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheet skills.
• Working knowledge of GAAP requirements (preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience implementing Netsuite.
• Blockchain experience.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency / token-economics.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, able to produce high-quality, accurate work in a startup environment.
