About the Position
Introduction
Phaxis is seeking a Solidity Developer to join their Smart Contracts team. This role involves building new smart contracts for the core platform and contributing to backend services.
Responsibilities
- Develop new core features and components for smart contracts.
- Implement and enhance smart contract services on network nodes that expose EVM features.
- Implement and enhance EVM and Web3-focused API services and tools.
- Design and implement Ethereum Remote Procedure Call (RPC) APIs.
- Develop sample applications (web, mobile, embedded) to showcase the platform's capabilities.
- Investigate end-to-end smart contract transaction execution details between the ledger and API services.
- Be a strong and proficient hands-on programmer.
Requirements
- Strong Solidity development experience, specifically for building a new core platform's smart contracts.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
- Experience with Blockchain, Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), or Crypto.
- Experience writing and debugging smart contracts for an EVM-based ledger.
- Experience with distributed applications and Web3 tools.
- Good understanding of the Ethereum blockchain and ecosystem.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on EVM-compatible applications.
- Experience with blockchain protocol development.
