About the Position

Introduction

Coinhako is seeking a highly motivated Web3 Lead Engineer to drive product delivery and platform operations for special projects. This role involves a blend of strategic alignment with the CEO, hands-on product ownership, and robust platform management, all within the exciting crypto space.

Responsibilities

70% Product & Delivery

Align with the CEO on roadmaps and OKRs.
Write lean Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and acceptance criteria.
Manage product backlogs, sprint rituals, and vendor Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Ensure quality through technical acceptance (API contracts, error handling, security/privacy).
Own User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release management (feature flags, canaries, rollback).
Track and drive improvement for key product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as activation, transaction success rate, custody approval SLAs, and Know Your Transaction (KYT) false-positive rates.

30% Platform Operations

Plan and execute Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) patching and upgrades.
Manage autoscaling, resource quotas, and FinOps initiatives.
Ensure cleanliness and maintainability of Terraform configurations (PR reviews, state/backends, drift prevention).
Optimize GitHub Actions for speed and reliability.
Maintain Cloudflare Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) policies (Access policies, tunnels, cert rotation, WAF rules).
Enforce least-privilege Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Verify backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) readiness against Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
Operate Fireblocks policies, approvals, and whitelists, along with Chainalysis rules.
Monitor webhooks and integrations.
Own observability solutions (CloudWatch/Grafana/alerts), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), error budgets, incident response, and crisp Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).

Requirements

5–8+ years of experience in software or platform roles.
Proven track record of product delivery with external vendors.
Hands-on experience with AWS, EKS, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
Practical understanding and application of security principles: ZTNA (Cloudflare or equivalent), IAM, Key Management Service (KMS)/secrets management, backup/DR strategies, and comprehensive logging/alerting.
Familiarity with custody and KYT solutions (e.g., Fireblocks/Chainalysis) and their integration into product workflows.
Administrative experience with Google Workspace IAM, Slack, and Notion.
Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO)/SAML/SCIM and good Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) hygiene.
Excellent written communication skills.
Decisive and documentation-driven approach.
Advanced understanding and/or experience working in Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, Fintech, or Traditional Finance Trading domains is preferred.
