About the Position

Introduction

Drops DAO (drops.co) offers a lending platform for metaverse NFTs, blending the realms of NFTs and DeFi. The protocol leverages lending pools to allow various NFT assets, from collectibles and metaverse items to financial NFTs, to be used as collateral.

Responsibilities

As a Web3 Frontend Developer, you will contribute to the cutting-edge area of NFT and DeFi technology. Your contributions will be valued for their results, and you will help advance Drops by researching and designing protocol improvements, contributing to decentralized governance, and executing the roadmap.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience with Web3.js and Next.js.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, quality, maintainable code.
Ability to contribute effectively within a lean, fast-moving team.
Comfortable working with a team primarily in European time zones.
Expert-level React, with a preference for working with hooks.
Experience in Open Source software development, with expert Git and GitHub skills.
Advanced knowledge of GraphQL backends.
Deep understanding of software documentation procedures.
Preference for Test Driven Development (TDD) and highly testable code.
Knowledge or experience in Web3, including gaming, NFTs, or tokenized communities.

Nice to Have

Engineering management experience or a desire to lead/manage over time.
DeFi Dapp development experience (Ethereum, Solidity, ethers.js, The Graph) and knowledge of the Ethereum ecosystem.
