Introduction

Blockpact Capital is seeking a highly experienced Web3 Advisor to provide strategic guidance to our firm and portfolio companies. This role is pivotal in leveraging deep expertise in blockchain, DeFi, and decentralized technologies to identify investment opportunities, support portfolio growth, and represent Blockpact Capital within the global Web3 community. We are looking for a thought leader with a strong blend of strategic advisory skills and hands-on experience in emerging blockchain projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on Web3 technologies, market trends, and investment opportunities.
• Advise on tokenomics design, token utility, and distribution strategies for various projects.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of emerging blockchain protocols and market trends.
• Support portfolio companies with go-to-market strategies, growth initiatives, and scaling efforts.
• Evaluate technical architecture and security considerations of blockchain projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key participants across the Web3 ecosystem.
• Represent Blockpact Capital at industry conferences, events, and community dialogues.
• Contribute to investment thesis development and conduct thorough due diligence.
• Facilitate strategic partnerships and business development opportunities for portfolio companies.
• Publish influential thought leadership content on Web3 trends and insights.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

• 7+ years of experience within the Web3, blockchain, or cryptocurrency ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi), Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), and other emerging Web3 technologies.
• Proven track record in tokenomics design and successful token launch strategies.
• Strong technical understanding of underlying blockchain protocols and smart contract functionalities.
• Experience in venture capital, startup advisory, or management consulting, specifically within the blockchain sector.
• Ability to evaluate and navigate regulatory and compliance considerations within the Web3 space.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's or MBA preferred.
