Introduction

AAPC is searching for a curious UX generalist to lead the digital platform evolution for hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals. This remote role covers the entire product lifecycle, from initial strategy to high-fidelity, data-driven execution. You will report to a leadership team that values autonomy and a strong design perspective, ensuring products are not only functional but also deeply resonate with users.

This is not a typical static design role; AAPC seeks designers who use the latest AI-assisted development techniques. By integrating tools like Cursor and Claude into your workflow, you will accelerate the prototyping process and foster deeper collaboration with engineers. This method allows you to advance beyond basic wireframes into functional, AI-powered prototypes that can be tested and iterated on in real-time.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Prototyping: Convert abstract product goals into clear user flows and interactive prototypes using Figma and AI coding tools.
• Growth & Optimization: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and usability research to boost engagement and improve member conversion rates.
• Collaborative Building: Work closely with engineering and product teams to manage design systems and ensure high-quality UI implementation.
• Product Evolution: Own the end-to-end design process, from discovery to shipping and post-launch refinement.

Requirements

• Curiosity and a generalist approach to UX.
• Experience leading the evolution of digital platforms.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) for prototyping.
• Ability to conduct A/B testing and usability research.
• Experience managing design systems.
• Strong understanding of UI implementation.
• Ability to take ownership of the end-to-end design process.
