Introduction

Crypto.com is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trading Java Developer to join our Quant Trading team in Hong Kong. This role involves the full-stack design, development, and implementation of trading and data platform components, contributing to the development of sophisticated trading strategies in a dynamic cryptocurrency environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement full-stack components for trading and data platforms.
• Collaborate closely with traders, operations, and developers to continuously optimize existing models, analytics, algorithms, and strategies, or to develop new ones.
• Participate in code auditing, testing, and release processes.
• Build rapidly deployable systems with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Identify and implement solutions for problems within back-end infrastructure and platforms.
• Analyze and resolve cross-stack technical challenges.
• Engage with various teams to automate and streamline trading, reconciliation, and analytics workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java programming.
• Experience working at an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, or Exchange developing trading applications for Equity, FX, or Derivative products in traditional or crypto markets is preferred.
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies and experience with automated testing.
• Strong desire for continuous improvement, meticulous attention to detail, and a high sense of responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Openness to new challenges and an eagerness to learn.
• Ability to perform under pressure, learn quickly, and adapt to changing priorities within a fast-moving industry.
• Solid understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
