Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases based on requirements and user stories.
• Manually test functionalities within the system.
• Verify that the software functions according to business needs.
• Identify, register, and follow up on bugs (e.g., in Jira).
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to resolve issues.
• Contribute ideas for improvements in the application and the testing process.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings such as stand-ups and sprint reviews.
• Support acceptance testing and releases.

Requirements

• Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in Business Administration/Informatics.
• Certifications in Testing Foundation and/or ISTQB Foundation and/or IT Foundation and/or TMAP.
• Experience with Postman, Git, Jira, Confluence.
• Extensive experience in collaborating with the business to define requirements, test cases, etc.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team, including continuous development and improvement, peer reviews, and cyclical planning in three-week sprints with regular Scrum events.
• Experience with/knowledge of Typescript and testing tools like Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) team.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Work is carried out in an agile development environment using Scrum. We are looking for a tester primarily for manual testing. Experience with testing case management systems would be a plus. The focus is on preparing, planning, and manually executing test cases for various modules within the case system. This includes functional and non-functional tests such as integration, acceptance, and performance tests.
