We are seeking a passionate tester to join a large financial organization in Utrecht. You will be part of a team responsible for developing the portal infrastructure. The team consists of 15 engineers divided into 3 sub-teams operating in an Agile environment. The organization is transitioning from manual to automated testing, and you will collaborate closely with developers. This department provides crucial 24/7 Global Self Service support globally. You will be part of a development team composed of highly skilled software engineers with infrastructure knowledge. In addition to testing, you will also mentor developers in manual testing, making this a great fit if you enjoy sharing knowledge.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing test automation scripts.
Performing API Testing and UI Testing.
Driving end-to-end quality processes.
Involved with both manual and automated testing.
Integrating various test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related software engineering discipline.
3+ years of test experience.
Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience with test automation, including API and web testing.
Passionate and critical about quality and testing practices.
Knowledge about SCRUM/AGILE/DevOps/LEAN.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

Experience with Robot Framework and/or Selenium (Python and/or Java).
Knowledge of the Testing pyramid and implementation approach.
Basic understanding of Linux and DNS.
Experience with databases.
