Introduction

As a Test Automation Engineer at Sopra Steria, you will ensure that software quality is demonstrable and measurable. You will automate test cases based on risk analyses, working with commercial tools and/or automation frameworks in an IDE. Your scope extends beyond functional tests to include performance, security, and other non-functional requirements. You will integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and actively contribute to the team's quality culture.

Responsibilities

• Automate test cases based on risk analyses.
• Utilize commercial test tools and/or automation frameworks in an IDE.
• Consider performance, security, and other non-functional requirements in your testing.
• Integrate testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
• Actively contribute to the team's quality culture.
• Collaborate with clients and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Share knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to software improvement.
• Completed HBO or university education.
• Minimum B2 level Dutch and good command of English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in test automation.
• Experience with test tools (e.g., Selenium, Tosca, Cucumber) or performance testing tools.
• Experience working in agile teams.
• Knowledge of one or more programming or scripting languages.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
