About the Position

Are you looking for a key role in the development of innovative data and AI solutions within a technically advanced environment? In this position, you will combine product ownership with a hands-on technical role and contribute to building a growing Data & AI team that shapes the digital future of an international machine manufacturer.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Product Owner Data & AI, you will be responsible for both the product vision and the realization of data and AI solutions. You will combine strategic insight with technical execution. Your activities will include:

Translating the Data & AI roadmap into a clear and prioritized product backlog.
Prioritizing backlog items based on business value, risk, and technical feasibility.
Aligning with stakeholders from engineering, operations, product management, and digital teams.
Developing dashboards, data pipelines, and other data solutions.
Researching and implementing AI and machine learning applications.
Contributing ideas for innovative solutions related to IoT, Edge Computing, and industrial data.
Contributing to the further growth and professionalization of the Data & AI team.

Requirements

Must-haves:

HBO or WO degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
Experience as a Product Owner within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience with Python and/or SQL.
Experience with developing dashboards, scripts, or data pipelines.
Affinity with Data, AI, and technical environments.
Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have:

Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, or similar cloud platforms.
Knowledge of Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Industrial IoT, or Edge Computing.
