Introduction

As a Technical Instructor for this 8-week remote academy, you will mentor neurodivergent individuals transitioning into the tech industry. This role focuses on guiding students through modern AI Fundamentals and helping them develop capstone projects. You will serve as both a lecturer for groups and a dedicated mentor for one-on-one sessions, empowering every learner to navigate the evolving digital landscape.

Responsibilities

• Mentor neurodivergent individuals in an 8-week remote academy.
• Guide students through modern AI Fundamentals.
• Assist students in bringing their capstone projects to life.
• Conduct group lectures and provide one-on-one mentorship.
• Professionalize the teaching of AI tools in a workforce development context.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in TeleportHQ: Using low-code and AI-driven design tools to build functional interfaces.
• Strong understanding of AI Fundamentals: Teaching the core logic that powers today's LLMs and automation tools.
• Proficiency in collaborative remote workflows using Slack, Zoom, and Google Meet.
• Experience in Technical Instruction, IT Fundamentals, AI Fundamentals, and Capstone Project Guidance.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and explain technical concepts.

Nice to Have

• Experience with IBM SkillsBuild.
• Familiarity with workforce development programs.
• Knowledge of employment-readiness training.
• Experience with Vibe Coding.
