Technical Architect Integrations

You will join an internationally operating industrial organization in the manufacturing sector, where technology and innovation play an increasingly important role. The IT environment is large-scale and business-critical, with a strong focus on digitization, sustainability, and process optimization. Introduction

As a Technical Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction within a complex IT environment. You will translate strategic issues into scalable and future-proof architectures, directly contributing to the modernization and acceleration of digital processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and safeguard enterprise-wide technical architectures.
• Define standards, frameworks, and technical blueprints.
• Guide implementation programs and advise on technical choices.
• Design integration or infrastructure architectures (depending on expertise).
• Ensure performance, security, and compliance within the IT landscape.
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and stakeholders at various levels.
• Promote standardization and modernization within the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
• 7–10 years of experience in an architecture or senior engineering role.
• Demonstrable experience with enterprise architecture and complex IT landscapes.
• In-depth knowledge of integrations (APIs, messaging, data integration) OR infrastructure/cloud.
• Experience with security and compliance standards.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of cloud-native and hybrid IT environments is a plus.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
