Introduction

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the application management team.
• Developing the annual plan, providing input for service-wide policy, and managing the team budget.
• Acting as the primary contact for the team, you will foster communication between end-users and suppliers.
• Representing the application team within the Management Team.
• Hands-on participation in tasks when needed.
• Responsible for rolling out releases, contributing to changes, integrations, and proposing improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an application manager or a similar role.
• Experience in a leadership or coordinating role.
• Practical mindset with a hands-on mentality.
• HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level.
• Experience and knowledge of healthcare applications/within the healthcare sector is a strong plus.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

They are currently looking to strengthen their ICT team with a team leader focused on healthcare applications. The team consists of five application specialists, whom you will lead to ensure more effective team functioning. The team currently focuses primarily on EPD (Electronic Patient Dossier), EVS (Electronic Medical Record), and the patient portal. Beyond your role as a team leader, you may also be asked to assist hands-on when necessary, making practical experience a must. The ultimate goal is to improve the application landscape and ensure smooth processes.
