Talent Acquisition Business Partner

Our headquarters in Amsterdam is located a stone’s throw away from the beautiful NEMO Science Museum and only a short stroll from Amsterdam Central Station. The city has 165 canals, is home to the world’s only floating flower market and has more bikes than people.

We’re currently scaling our Talent Acquisition team and are looking for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will be partnering with the business, developing innovative strategies for identifying and attracting the best talent as well as building robust talent pipelines.

What you will be doing

• Identify and attract the best talent on the market.
• Build pipelines and engage with candidates for current and future opportunities.
• Partner with hiring managers & leadership on recruitment strategy and best practices.
• Conduct in-depth intake meetings with hiring managers to develop a clear understanding of the hiring need.
• Source qualified candidates for open positions across all levels and functions, leveraging various sourcing channels (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking System, referrals, etc.).
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
• Manage the full recruitment life cycle (interviewing, presenting candidates, managing the offer process and closing selected candidates).
• Serve as a brand ambassador for Backbase, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Utilize and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to accurately track candidate progress, document interactions, and generate recruitment reports.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, talent acquisition best practices, and innovative sourcing strategies.
• Participate in employer branding initiatives and recruitment events to enhance Backbase's visibility and attract top talent.

Who you are

• You are a high-energy, driven, and passionate Talent Acquisition Business Partner with 5+ years of experience in the full recruitment cycle, ideally in the high-tech or Fintech space.
• Your experience includes sourcing a high volume of candidates as well as passive candidates with skills that could span across Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. You have experience working with international teams and are at home recruiting across multiple cultures and countries.
• You thrive working in a fast-paced environment. You are ambitious, energetic, an overachiever, and someone who loves to be busy!
• You have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage with candidates and hiring managers at all levels.
• You have a proven track record of successful placements and have exceeded recruitment targets.
• Your English language skills are excellent (both verbal and written).
