System Administrator

This semi-governmental organization is a leading data-driven entity specializing in entertainment law and regulations. This organization is typically Dutch and employs over 100 people. Responsibilities

As a System Administrator, you are responsible for the management, continuity, and further optimization of the IT infrastructure. You work closely with colleagues within the IT team and external partners to ensure a stable, secure, and future-proof environment.

Your tasks will include:

• Managing and improving server, network, and workplace environments.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Performing updates, upgrades, and security measures within the IT infrastructure.
• Managing user environments and modern workplace facilities.
• Monitoring systems and resolving disruptions and technical incidents.
• Implementing changes and improvements within the existing IT environment.
• Managing software licenses, certificates, and technical documentation.
• Testing backup, recovery, and continuity facilities.
• Coordinating operational activities with external suppliers and service providers.
• Supporting the service desk with complex issues.
• Contributing to technical projects and infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Experience with setting up and managing LAN/WLAN infrastructure.
• Knowledge and demonstrable experience with the management of Intune, SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Defender, VMware Horizon, and a VDI environment.
• Experience with setting up and managing Virtual servers/networks based on Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and/or Python.
• Experience with managing MS-Windows servers, (Azure) Active Directory, MSSQL, etc.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi networks, preferably Extreme Cloud.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Benefits

• Salary between €3,500 - €5,300 based on a 36-hour work week.
• Good pension scheme.
• Travel allowance: 21 cents/kilometer (maximum of €250 per month).
