Are you an enthusiastic and driven System Administrator who ensures systems and networks run smoothly? We are looking for a System Administrator who can work both independently and in a team and feels at home in a dynamic work environment. As a System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, managing, and improving the IT infrastructure within our company. Responsibilities

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the IT environments of our organization. You will ensure that all systems, networks, and applications function correctly and support users with technical issues. You will be proactive in identifying technical problems and working to resolve them. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing system updates, managing backups, and ensuring the security of our systems.

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

• Managing servers, workstations, and network infrastructures.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware.
• Monitoring system performance and availability.
• Resolving technical malfunctions and providing support to end-users.
• Performing backup and recovery procedures.
• Keeping systems up-to-date and performing patches and updates.
• Managing network security and monitoring potential security risks.
• Documenting technical procedures and user manuals.

Requirements

• Minimum of an MBO diploma in ICT or a comparable technical education.
• Demonstrable experience with system administration and network infrastructures (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, cloud solutions).
• Experience with managing IT environments, both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Knowledge of network protocols and security.
• Experience with backup and recovery procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and set priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
