Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining IT environments for various clients.
• Performing workplace management and supporting end-users.
• Managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Configuring and managing networks, switches, firewalls, VLANs, and WLAN environments.
• Managing internet connections and telephony solutions.
• Performing periodic maintenance and preventive checks.
• Identifying improvement opportunities and advising clients on their IT infrastructure.
• Resolving complex disruptions and technical issues.
• Collaborating with colleagues to provide clients with a stable, secure, and future-proof IT environment.

Requirements

• A completed MBO or HBO education in ICT or similar.
• A minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of networks, VLANs, WLAN, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with workplace management and server management.
• Experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is a plus.
• Certifications such as MS-102, MD-102, or Microsoft Azure are a plus.
• Communicative, customer-oriented, and proactive.
• You are in possession of a valid B driving license.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

About Company

You will work for a regional IT service provider that supports organizations with the management, maintenance, and further development of their IT environment. The organization primarily focuses on SMEs and is known for its personal approach, short lines of communication, and long-term client relationships.

Because many clients do not have their own IT department, you will have a broad and responsible role. You are not only responsible for resolving technical issues but also actively contribute to improvements and future developments within the client's IT environment. This allows you to combine technical expertise with advice and build strong relationships with the organizations you support.

You will mostly work on-site at clients, ensuring no two days are the same. On average, you will visit several clients per week and encounter a variety of infrastructures and technical issues. Additionally, you will work one fixed day per week with your colleagues at the office to share knowledge, coordinate projects, and strengthen team collaboration.
