Figma is a collaborative interface design tool. We are building a browser-based editor that aims to do for interface design what Google Docs did for text editing. We are enabling a new class of design-led products, and we're just getting started. Figma is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Integrations team, which helps connect Figma's core editing and design systems with our broader product suite and external applications.

In this role, you will be a technical leader on the Integrations team, collaborating with your peers to set strategy, planning, and execution for high-impact projects. You'll work across the team, coaching other engineers and raising the technical bar as we build out the next generation of Figma's platform capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to shape the platform that powers everything from internal product experiences to customer-facing APIs.

This role is fully in-office in San Francisco or New York City, and as such, will require you to be in the office 5 days a week.

Role

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Integrations team, you will:

Provide technical leadership for high-impact projects from ideation to launch
Define technical roadmaps, drive architectural decisions, and ensure the long-term health of our systems
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver delightful user experiences
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and growth
Own and improve critical parts of our platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance
Contribute to the broader engineering community at Figma, sharing knowledge and best practices
