Introduction

Alarm.com is seeking a technical visionary to bridge the gap between traditional engineering and the era of autonomous agents. In this Staff-level role, you won't just be writing code; you'll be redefining the software development lifecycle by integrating Agentic AI and Copilot-driven workflows into a global IoT platform. You will serve as the internal champion for vibe-coding principles, proving that AI-assisted development can solve complex, real-world problems faster and more reliably than legacy methods.

Responsibilities

• Architect the future: Move from contributor to AI strategist, defining how an entire engineering organization scales using generative tools.
• Hybrid Innovation: Work on-site in Tysons, VA, four days a week, collaborating in person to push the boundaries of what AI-human hybrids can build.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET, Python, and Node.js.
• Experience orchestrating data across Kafka streams.

• Knowledge of IoT and full-stack engineering at scale.
