About the Position
GitLab is seeking a Software Engineer interested in working on an industry-leading open-source project. Engineers at GitLab are generalists and are expected to be able to jump into any area of the codebase. We don't expect you to be an expert in everything, but an eagerness to learn is a must.
Role
As a Backend Software Engineer II, you will contribute to the following areas:
- Develop, test, and maintain GitLab's backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Continuously learn and improve your skills in a fast-paced environment.
