Introduction

Zip is the AI platform for enterprise procurement, designed to help companies innovate faster by orchestrating procurement across teams, tools, and suppliers with AI agents. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Identity team, focusing on managing user access and data confidentiality for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and build product features for enterprise customers, including AI-powered anomaly detection for payment fraud and account takeovers, granular access control, identity management, and bring-your-own-key encryption.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional product and customer-facing teams to understand requirements and deliver thoughtful solutions.
• Work alongside our customers’ security teams (e.g., Discover, Snowflake, and Anthropic) to understand their needs and risk assessment processes.
• Develop guardrails, tooling, frameworks, and automation to enable software engineers to implement secure changes and prevent vulnerabilities.
• Design and build scalable frontend applications and components.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a software engineering role.
• Experience with web application and API development in production environments.
• Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.

• Experience in enterprise SaaS, fintech, software security best practices, and compliance frameworks.
