About the Position

Introduction

Zip is the AI platform for enterprise procurement, designed to help companies secure resources and innovate faster by orchestrating procurement processes with AI agents. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to building Zip's core products and architecture, working on a wide range of complex technical and product challenges within a fast-growing team.

Responsibilities

Design and build highly reliable and resilient products and features.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional product and customer-facing teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Write high-quality, extensible, and maintainable code.
Design and build scalable frontend applications and components.
Design and build APIs to drive existing and new features for web-based applications.
Develop native AI features to automate workflows and enable smarter decision-making in procurement.

Requirements

3+ years of software engineering experience.
BS or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or math).
Experience with web application and API development in production environments. Our stack includes Python, Javascript, React, and GraphQL.
Experience with industry-standard build, test, and deploy tools. Our stack includes Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Ability and interest to quickly learn new frameworks, architecture patterns, and programming languages as needed.

Nice to Have

Experience working at a small company with diverse responsibilities.
Experience working with API connections with external systems like Jira, ServiceNow, Slack, etc.
Exposure to AI-driven automation or interest in working with AI/ML teams to build intelligent workflows.
