Software Engineer - Android

Introduction

Ether.fi is seeking a talented Android Software Engineer to build and evolve high-quality, secure, performant, and delightful mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to transform ideas into reliable and scalable Android experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain modern Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and the Android SDK.
• Collaborate with other engineers to ship high-quality code and uphold engineering excellence.
• Apply modern architectural and design patterns (MVI, Clean Architecture, modularization, etc.).
• Debug, optimize, and enhance application performance, stability, and security.
• Continuously improve development workflows, tooling, and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience developing native Android applications.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern UIs.
• Solid understanding of MVI and unidirectional data flow.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive features from conception to delivery.
• Experience writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with native iOS development (Swift / SwiftUI / UIKit).
• Experience building or integrating Web3 applications (wallets, blockchain APIs, smart contracts, etc.).
• Experience with WebAuthn, passkeys, or modern authentication and security standards.
