Introduction

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and enjoy being the first line of defense against cyberattacks with your colleagues? Then you are the SOC Analyst we are looking for to expand our team!

As a SOC Analyst at Ilionx, you will be part of our Security Operations Center (SOC). Daily, we monitor our clients' IT environments for suspicious activities and respond to potential threats. You will work in a team of 20+ driven and specialized security professionals, each with their own expertise. You will participate in a 24/7 roster, working both in the office and from home. We believe it's important that you continue to develop yourself alongside your daily work. This includes obtaining certifications or participating in internal projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring SIEM, EDR, and related security solutions.
• Analyzing log data, events, and alerts.
• Performing triage.
• Incident response, advice, and reporting.
• Creating and finetuning detection rules.
• Maintaining documentation and playbooks.
• Participating in internal projects.
• Continuously developing your skills.

Requirements

• MBO+ / HBO (vocational or higher professional education) work and thinking level.
• Experience with SIEM and EDR, such as Sentinel, Splunk, Elastic, CrowdStrike, Defender, etc.
• General knowledge of networks, operating systems, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, SC-200, or comparable.
• Good command of both Dutch and English, orally and in writing.
• Affinity with cybersecurity.
• In possession of a valid B driving license.

Nice to Have

• Experience with one or more scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, KQL).
