The network is supported by data partners including Alameda Research, Jane Street, Gemini, CMT Digital, and Flow Traders. Empiric Network is entirely on-chain, offering verifiable, transparent, and secure data for protocols. They are also pioneering computational feeds that combine high-quality, real-time market data with zero-knowledge computation to enable advanced DeFi protocols.

Empiric Labs recently secured a $7M seed round led by Variant, with participation from StarkWare, Sandeep Nailwal (Polygon), and other notable investors. More information can be found in their documentation and open-source code.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure smart contracts for Empiric's on-chain architecture (Cairo & Solidity).
• Create internal and public tooling to accelerate development for Empiric and the wider ecosystem.
• Build smart contracts on Ethereum L1 to bridge critical data, such as Uniswap TWAP rates or Aave overnight rates (Solidity).
• Address challenges at the cutting edge of cryptography, smart contracts, and data with a focus on safety and robustness.

Requirements

• Reside in NYC and be willing to work from the office.
• Have deployed smart contracts to mainnet that have achieved traction (in terms of usage, TVL, and/or transaction volume).
• More than 2 years of professional experience.
• Bonus: Experience in smart contract auditing (e.g., OpenZeppelin, Nethermind, Consensys, Trails Of Bits, Zelic...).
• Please share your GitHub account and links to smart contracts you have worked on.
• Big bonus: Experience with the StarkNet ecosystem, specifically the Cairo programming language.
