    About the Position

    Introduction

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient with the Genesis framework and have a strong understanding of custom field integration and front-end development. This role also encompasses improving our website's SEO performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a custom file display and filtering system for 'application' post types on a WordPress site built with the Genesis framework.
    • Utilize Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to manage and display PDF files associated with posts.
    • Enable front-end users to filter 'application' posts by category.
    • Ensure that file links open in a new tab upon user interaction.
    • Conduct a comprehensive SEO audit and implement strategies to improve the website's SEO score.
    • Collaborate effectively to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Senior WordPress Developer.
    • Expertise with the Genesis framework.
    • Strong proficiency in Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
    • Solid understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
    • Demonstrable experience with SEO best practices and optimization techniques.
    • Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Nice to Have

    • Experience with other WordPress page builders or frameworks.
    • Familiarity with various SEO tools and analytics platforms.
