Introduction

As the lead designer for a high-growth observability platform, you will own the end-to-end journey for thousands of engineers. This isn't a typical UI role; you'll be working closely with leadership to solve complex data visualization challenges and streamline the monitoring workflow for teams at companies like Vercel and 1Password. You will be responsible for defining the visual language of the product while ensuring high standards for accessibility and developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end UX journey for a high-growth observability platform.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to solve complex data visualization and monitoring workflow challenges.
• Define the visual language of the product.
• Ensure high standards for accessibility and developer experience.
• Accelerate output using modern AI tools and stay ahead of the curve.
• Maintain a scalable design system that supports a global developer community.

Requirements

• Experience as a lead designer, ideally for an observability platform or similar complex B2B SaaS.
• Proficiency in AI orchestration tools like Claude and Raycast for workflow acceleration.
• Expertise in design innovation tools like Figma AI and Pencil for rapid iteration on data-heavy interfaces.
• Ability to perform functional prototyping utilizing Vue and Tailwind to 'vibe code' functional components.
• Strong understanding of accessibility and developer experience best practices.
• Experience working in a remote, async-first environment.
