Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

SmartThings is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our team in Mountain View, CA. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications and services. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software that meets the needs of our users. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, has a strong work ethic, and is able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Experience with Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
