Introduction

Upstart 13 is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to drive their transition to an AI-integrated testing lifecycle. This remote-first role involves a blend of strategic manual exploration and developing advanced automation suites for web and mobile applications. You will be instrumental in shaping a quality-focused culture by combining AI tools with human oversight to ensure impeccable releases.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine UI/E2E frameworks using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Implement AI-assisted testing workflows to accelerate test generation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Experience in QA with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
• Proficiency in UI/E2E automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium).
• Ability to implement AI-assisted testing workflows.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in testing web and mobile applications.

Nice to Have

• Skills in 'Vibe Coding'.
• Experience with Jira for defect management.
