You will be instrumental in owning the roadmap for our advanced trading platform, building products that professional traders rely on while upholding the superior design quality that distinguishes world-class platforms.

Responsibilities

Own the advanced trading user experience (UX) roadmap for both web and mobile platforms.
Define and launch sophisticated trading tools tailored for professional and institutional users.
Champion design excellence, ensuring every feature meets the highest standards for usability and aesthetics.
Conduct rigorous design reviews and provide specific, actionable UX feedback.
Engage directly with traders through comprehensive research, interviews, and community feedback.
Collaborate seamlessly with engineering, design, data, and operations teams to ship outstanding products.
Actively use the platform daily as a trader to cultivate deep empathy and serve as your own toughest critic.

Requirements

Design-Obsessed

Instantly identify pixel misalignments, inconsistent spacing, and clunky interactions.
Articulate why one interface is superior beyond mere aesthetics, demonstrating a deep understanding of UX principles.
Proficient in Figma, capable of creating wireframes, and actively engaged in design reviews.
Possess an unyielding commitment to design quality, having pushed back on delivering anything less than excellent.

Understanding Trading

Possess experience with trading platforms or financial products, OR demonstrate genuine curiosity and a rapid learning capability in this domain.
Willingness to become a daily user of the platform, trading regularly to deeply understand user needs.
Ability to learn (or already possess knowledge of) concepts such as order books, order types, technical indicators, and market dynamics.
Extensive experience with various platforms, enabling recognition of what constitutes great vs. frustrating trading UX.
Empathy for power users who require speed, precision, and frictionless experiences.

Professional Experience

4+ years of product management experience within fintech, trading platforms, or complex product environments.
Strong design sensibility and a proven ability to evaluate and improve UI/UX quality (this is critical).
Demonstrated track record of shipping user-loved, design-forward products.
Understanding of financial products OR a quick learner capable of becoming a domain expert.
Willingness to trade daily on the platform to build deep user empathy.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Design, or a related field.
