Introduction

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to lead our Workspace Batch Uploads initiative, a critical function for scaling asset ingestion into the Bynder platform. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of content orchestration, leveraging AI-powered solutions to drive business impact.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and Direction: Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Workspace Batch Uploads and the broader Asset domain, aligning with Bynder's strategic business goals.
• Ingestion and Processing Direction: Define desired outcomes for batch ingestion and the on-upload processing pipeline (converters, extractors, metadata extraction, validation, and asset lifecycle), partnering with architects and technical champions.
• API Strategy: Set the vision and standards for ingestion and asset APIs, ensuring they are scalable, developer-friendly, and consistent across the platform.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Bynder’s architects, technical champions, platform and engineering teams, UX designers, and QA to test direction, address trade-offs, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and system integrators to gather feedback, validate decisions, and respond to market needs.
• Technology and Market Awareness: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in batch ingestion, file conversion, extraction, asset processing, and lifecycle management, leveraging Bynder’s technical experts to inform strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of owning strategy, direction, and roadmaps for platform or developer-facing products.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and developer experience.
• Comfortable engaging on backend, platform, and architectural topics, with an understanding of trade-offs.
• Strong ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated skill in building alignment, influencing without direct authority, and driving consensus across teams.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with experience managing iterative product development cycles.
• Ability to proactively identify opportunities, troubleshoot challenges, and iterate toward solutions in complex technical environments.
• A self-starter with a passion for exploring the latest AI tools and staying on top of industry developments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; a background in a technical field is a plus.
