Senior Product Manager

Introduction

Dataiku is looking for a Senior Product Manager to significantly impact their AI/ML offerings. In this role, you will lead product positioning, roadmap, and requirements for predictive analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI, collaborating across various departments to drive growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Embed with strategic customers to conduct structured discovery (interviews, async collaboration, or on-site visits) to identify unmet needs before they become apparent to competitors.
• Analyze usage and customer data to pinpoint gaps and opportunities, enhancing customer success and delivering new capabilities with strong business value propositions to contribute to financial goals.
• Analyze market forces and competition, engage with industry analysts and Dataiku teams to execute the product strategy. Collaborate with the Product Marketing team on product positioning messages.
• Build working prototypes (UI mockups, agentic pipeline demos, opportunity memos) to validate hypotheses with customers prior to engineering commitments.
• Synthesize field signals across accounts to differentiate incremental customer requests from genuine innovation opportunities (new core capabilities for the platform).
• Define and champion innovation initiatives from discovery through launch, then transition ownership to Technical Product Managers for ongoing improvements.
• Partner with Technical Product Managers at launch to create enablement materials for internal customers (Product Marketing and GTM Enablement), ensuring proper positioning, messaging, and field readiness for new capabilities.
• Maintain the product backlog for owned initiatives, aligning with the global product strategy and software engineering delivery capacity.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and education of the AI/ML roadmap. Articulate your team’s technology vision, requirements, goals, and milestones to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with demonstrated ability to learn and excel in a highly technical environment before diverse audiences.
• 3+ years hands-on experience building AI/ML solutions (e.g., advanced analytics, predictive analytics, GenAI-powered applications).
• Ability to prototype: build and demo agentic applications in Dataiku or other platforms, not just presentations, creating tangible artifacts for testing ideas.
• Ability to engage with business leaders and influence decisions.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
