Introduction

Our client, a leader in digital printing based in Bunnik, is seeking a Senior PHP Developer. You will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing core systems that process hundreds of thousands of orders daily. This position involves building new features, enhancing existing functionalities, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of their platform to improve both customer experience and internal processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new features for core systems.
• Optimize existing functionalities for scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with product owners and other developers to define technical requirements and solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PHP Developer.
• Extensive experience with Symfony or Laravel framework.
• Proficient in MySQL and database optimization.
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• You live in or around Bunnik (or willing to relocate).
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with RabbitMQ or similar message queues.
• Knowledge of AWS services.
• Affinity with the printing industry or e-commerce.
