We are looking for a Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join the Mixed Signal design team, focusing on building next-generation NVLINK. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic, technology-focused company, contributing to product lines ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and artificial intelligence. The team is responsible for developing and implementing high-speed interfaces and analog circuits, offering hands-on experience with innovative integrated circuit designs at data rates of 100Gbps and higher, from concept through silicon characterization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-speed interface circuits, including projects like high-speed transceivers and high-frequency PLLs.
• Engage in the design, simulation, and verification of mixed-signal circuits.
• Lead mask designers and provide mentorship for floorplan and layout design.
• Support lab characterization of silicon and address circuit design challenges in deep submicron CMOS.
• Drive designs through implementation and productization.
• Collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering; PhD preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of design experience in CMOS analog/mixed-signal circuits.
• Proficient in Cadence custom design tools, circuit simulators, and timing analysis tools.
• Extensive design experience in Data Converters, Tx, Rx, CDR, and PLL for high-speed I/O interfaces.
• Exceptional team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring designers.
• In-depth understanding of deep submicron CMOS processes and related circuit design issues.
• Demonstrated experience in silicon bring-up, debugging, and using lab instrumentation.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge in system-level timing budget, signal integrity, and power integrity.
• Experience with Verilog, Matlab, and Nanotime.
