We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager for Web3 / DeFi to shape and execute our marketing strategy within these fast-evolving and specialized sectors. This role is crucial for Mollie's ambitious strategy to help Web3 / DeFi businesses scale efficiently.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for Mollie's Web3 / DeFi products and services, aligning with overall business objectives. This includes defining target audiences, messaging, and positioning for various Web3/DeFi offerings.
Lead the creation of engaging content across various channels, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, social media, and presentations, to educate and attract Web3/DeFi businesses.
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., social media, paid ads, SEO, email marketing) to drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and brand visibility within the Web3/DeFi ecosystem.
Collaborate closely with product development teams to ensure marketing efforts effectively communicate the value proposition of new features and offerings.
Build and nurture relationships with key industry influencers, media outlets, and community leaders within the Web3/DeFi space to amplify Mollie's presence and credibility.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and challenges, adapting marketing strategies accordingly.
Analyze marketing performance data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to optimize campaigns and achieve measurable results.
Represent Mollie at industry events, conferences, and meetups, engaging with potential customers and partners.
Interview and onboard new team members to scale up the team in line with business objectives.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2-3 years specifically focused on Web3, DeFi, or blockchain technologies.
Strong understanding of crypto exchanges, blockchain protocols, decentralized applications (dApps), NFTs, and other emerging areas within Web3/DeFi.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and engagement in the Web3/DeFi space.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling marketing messages.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze marketing performance, identify insights, and optimize strategies for continuous improvement.
Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
