Introduction
Front is a customer operations platform designed for complex B2B environments, ensuring teams, tools, and conversations are synchronized to help companies scale while maintaining customer connection. Unlike solutions for simple interactions, Front specializes in coordinating the context behind intricate B2B customer relationships. Trusted by over 9,000 companies including Uber Freight, Navan, and Stripe, Front provides the operational layer essential for successful customer-facing work.
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Product Analytics & Strategy to lead a high-performing team of analysts and act as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and executive leadership. This role focuses on shaping Front's investment areas, product development, and critical decision-making through data, AI, and strategic judgment. As a high-ownership role, it requires someone who can set direction, operate independently, and influence at senior levels, with a strong emphasis on AI fluency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of product analysts, including coaching, hiring, and setting high standards for analytical quality and strategic impact.
- Drive product strategy through data by synthesizing insights to inform investment decisions, product development, and discontinuation strategies, specifically contributing to AI product strategy.
- Own product measurement strategy across key customer journeys, defining success metrics, guardrails, and instrumentation expectations for clear strategic goals.
- Partner with senior leaders in Product, Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to prioritize roadmaps, evaluate strategic tradeoffs, and make data-driven decisions.
- Translate ambiguous strategic questions into structured analyses, clear recommendations, and robust, repeatable business frameworks.
- Build scalable analytics systems, including experimentation practices (A/B testing), self-serve reporting, and data quality processes to facilitate quicker, more confident decisions.
- Actively leverage AI tools and champion AI adoption to enhance team efficiency in analysis, insight generation, and automated data workflows.
- Deliver compelling data-driven narratives for executive audiences, presenting a clear point of view beyond mere charts.
Requirements
- Strong product strategy instincts supported by analytics, with a proven ability to shape product direction and influence roadmap decisions using data.
- Experience at the intersection of product analytics and product strategy, comfortable in roadmap reviews, strategy offsites, and discussions around build/buy/partner options.
- Solid product analytics foundation, including experience owning product metrics, funnel analysis, retention/cohort analysis, and north-star measurement in a product-led environment. Experience with customer-facing products is a plus.
- 2–3+ years of people management experience, with a track record of developing and retaining high-performing teams.
- Experience partnering with executives and senior cross-functional leaders, and influencing decisions without formal authority.
- Strong judgment regarding data quality, instrumentation, and metric definitions, including the ability to identify and rectify data issues.
- Experience building or scaling experimentation programs.
- Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals, and experience with modern analytics tools (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Mode, Omni, or similar).
- High AI fluency, actively using AI tools for analysis, writing, data exploration, or workflow automation, and possessing a perspective on how AI can improve team output and speed.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of rendering complex, ambiguous strategic questions understandable and actionable for any audience.
Benefits

- Flexible time off policy
- Flexibility to work from home on Monday and Friday (unless fully remote role)
