About the Position

Introduction

As a Senior Java Engineer at Sopra Steria, you will be a driving force in the design and development of complex software solutions. You will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor less experienced colleagues, and actively participate in technical innovations. You possess a broad perspective on both technology and business, and you know how to elevate a project to the next level.

Requirements

Completed HBO or WO education in a technical field.
5+ years of experience as a Java Developer, with a portion in a lead or senior role.
In-depth knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, Maven, and Git.
Experience with integrations, APIs, and microservices.
Experience with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Coaching skills and the ability to technically guide teams.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
