Introduction

As a Senior Java Developer at Team Rockstars IT, you are more than just a code-writer. You are an architect, a mentor, and an innovator. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Java-based solutions that transform our clients' digital world. Whether it's building scalable backend systems, developing microservices, or integrating advanced technologies, you will be the driving force behind technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex Java-based software solutions.
• Lead the entire software development process, from concept to deployment.
• Coach and mentor junior and medior developers, sharing your knowledge and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and architectural standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a Java Developer.
• In-depth knowledge of Java 8 (or higher) and associated frameworks such as Spring (Boot), Hibernate, JPA.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and potentially Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Proactive, strong communication skills, and a true team player.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a significant plus.
