Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd-line support for hardware, software, and mobile devices.
• Manage and support Windows workstations, Microsoft 365, and business-critical applications.
• Install, configure, and replace IT equipment and manage IT assets.
• Support and manage local and regional IT infrastructure.
• Participate in and independently execute infrastructure projects.
• Support network, server, and cloud environments.
• Perform basic tasks on server and network infrastructure.
• Document systems, procedures, and work instructions.
• Coordinate daily activities within the support team and act as a substitute team leader.
• Coach colleagues and assist with complex technical issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Develop simple scripts and contribute to innovations in AI and automation.

Requirements

• MBO 4 or HBO (Dutch vocational or higher professional education) work and thinking level in ICT or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of experience in IT Support, System Administration, or IT Infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Basic knowledge of server, network, and cloud environments.
• Experience with hardware installations and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting languages is a plus.
• Interest in automation, AI, and process improvement.
• Proficient in Dutch and English.
• Possess a B driving license.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

You will be working for an international production organization that operates globally with branches in over 100 countries. Technology plays a vital role in daily operations, and the IT department is responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and future-readiness of the international IT environment.

You will be part of a small and dedicated IT team in the Rotterdam region and will also collaborate intensively with international colleagues, suppliers, and various business departments within the EMEA region. This combines local responsibility with an international work environment.
