Introduction

We are seeking a Hardware Compliance Engineer to join our Compliance team within the Qualification group at NVIDIA. This role involves focusing on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Safety testing for NVIDIA hardware products. The ideal candidate will be adept at learning new features, designing, and executing EMI debugging, and contributing to a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-compliance and compliance tests at NVIDIA's EMC & Safety testing labs.
• Provide feedback on product performance and recommend solutions for non-compliances.
• Write comprehensive test reports and debug summaries for tests conducted in-house and at external labs.
• Contribute to the development and oversight of test setups.
• Offer technical support, mentorship, and justifications for testing processes based on industry regulations and customer requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Electronics Design Verification.
• Electrical Practical Engineer certificate or equivalent experience.
• Ability to analyze schematics and calculation summaries.
• Experience interacting effectively with various organizational levels.
• Capable of producing well-organized documentation for testing and evaluations.
• Willingness to travel to vendors, labs, or customer sites for on-site testing and support.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven track record of accomplishing critical tasks autonomously.
• Hands-on experience with testing according to FCC/EN/CISPR standards.
• Previous experience with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Linux.
• Experience in RF (Radio Frequency).
• Background with Layout CAD tools.
