About the Position

Introduction

Our client, a leading European financial institution, is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer. You will join a team of 7 (including Product Owners and Business Analysts) to work on a new blockchain-based platform, enabling institutional clients to trade bonds, stocks, and other securities.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize seamless, React-based interfaces.
Design APIs and facilitate the integration of advanced features using Node.js for performance-oriented backend solutions.
Be involved in backend development, building APIs, microservices, and configuring smart contracts on Ethereum (Layer 2).
Contribute to a new blockchain-based product within a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Deep knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full-Stack or Backend Developer with an affinity for front-end development.
Proficiency in event-sourced architectures.
Strong experience with Node.js, Nest.js, and Express.js for backend development.
Proficient in React, Next.js, Redux, and GraphQL for frontend development.
Intrinsic interest in blockchain and distributed systems (prior blockchain development experience is not required, as skillset is present within the team).
Ability to configure smart contracts on Ethereum (Layer 2).
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
