The company we are recruiting for is a startup transforming the housing market. They have developed an online platform that helps consumers buy or sell a house without the intervention of a real estate agent. This saves homeowners significant costs and hassle. The platform is highly successful and has already helped tens of thousands of users.

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for the development of the platform's user interface. You will work closely with the product owner, UI/UX designer, and a team of backend developers. You will be involved in all aspects of product development, from concept to implementation, and will have a significant say in design choices and architecture. You will continuously strive to improve the user experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and functionalities.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of the platform.
• Maintain code quality and address technical debt.
• Actively contribute to the product roadmap and design choices.
• Act as a sparring partner for fellow developers and the product owner.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Frontend Developer.
• Excellent knowledge of React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Node.js.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proactive and independent work ethic.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with microfrontend architecture.
