Introduction

Are you an experienced Front-end Developer looking for more challenge, responsibility, freedom, and an excellent salary? Haystack People is seeking a Senior Front-end Developer to join our team. You'll be permanently employed with us, working on a project basis for our (international) clients. This means you might be building a complex internal portal for a large bank one day, and creating a new website for a fashion startup the next. Every project is unique, requiring a tailor-made solution where you, as the technical expert, will translate creative designs into stunning, functional applications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical and functional solutions (often in collaboration with UX/UI designers and Product Owners) depending on client needs.
• Translate creative designs into beautiful, functional applications.
• Ensure the quality of code and applications.
• Maintain high client satisfaction throughout projects.
• Actively contribute to building and growing our team and office culture in Amsterdam.

Requirements

• Minimum of HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level; skillset and ambition are prioritized over formal degrees.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Front-end Developer.
• Demonstrable experience with React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Available for a minimum of 32 hours per week (40 hours is standard).
• Ambitious, eager to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Enjoys contributing to the growth and improvement of our organization.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vue.js and Angular.
