About the Position

Introduction

Are you looking to build a sovereign cloud platform that runs in some of the most critical IT environments in the Netherlands and Belgium? In this role, you will combine deep-tech DevOps engineering with real impact on enterprise Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms. You will ensure that complex infrastructures not only run, but function fully automated, securely, and scalably.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work at the intersection of platform engineering, automation, and cloud-native architecture:

Design, build, and manage enterprise Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
Further develop a strategic cloud platform (from infra to automation layer).
Set up and improve CI/CD and GitOps pipelines.
Fully automate provisioning and lifecycle management.
Develop platform automation in Golang.
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
Resolve complex outages across infra, network, and application layers.
Integrate security, compliance, and DevSecOps in every step.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and security teams on platform improvement.

Requirements

5–8+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering / SRE.
Proven experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift in production.
Strong CI/CD experience (GitLab, Jenkins, Argo CD, and/or Tekton).
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
Strong Linux and container knowledge.
Experience with networking (L3–L7) and cloud-native infrastructures.
Programming experience in Golang.
Understanding of security, compliance, and DevSecOps principles.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
