About the Position

Introduction

QuickNode is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will be instrumental in provisioning experimental capacity in new data centers, optimizing software deployment processes, and collaborating with development teams to ensure system uptime. You will drive innovative solutions to maintain QuickNode's market leadership and ensure the dependability of our systems against various challenges. We also encourage every engineer to engage in customer support for a day to enhance customer understanding.

Responsibilities

Provision experimental capacity in new data centers.
Discover and implement new methods for software deployment.
Work closely with teams developing new software to ensure high uptime.
Lead the development and implementation of innovative ideas to sustain market leadership.
Ensure system reliability and resilience against failures or malicious activities.
Participate in daily meetings to discuss customer issues, task progress, and design solutions.
Spend at least one day on customer support to gain insights into customer needs.

Requirements

Strong self-starter with excellent communication skills.
Deep sense of ownership and a collaborative team mentality.
Ability to work with teams to achieve optimal design for systems and infrastructure.

Nice to Have

Experience in developing Web3 applications.
