Introduction

XALT is seeking a forward-thinking Senior DevOps Engineer to bridge the gap between traditional infrastructure and AI-accelerated development. In this role, you will act as a strategic consultant, designing scalable cloud architectures on AWS and Azure while leveraging 'Vibe Coding' methodologies to streamline deployments. This isn't just about managing servers; it is about pioneering how AI-assisted workflows can optimize high-availability environments and complex migrations within a highly agile framework.

Responsibilities

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in reshaping our approach to cloud infrastructure and software delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a strategic consultant for designing scalable cloud architectures on AWS and Azure.
• Leveraging 'Vibe Coding' methodologies for streamlined deployments.
• Using AI tools to rapidly generate and refine Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation scripts for Infrastructure as Code.
• Managing Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) with a focus on rapid, prompt-supported iteration.
• Applying natural language prompting skills for architectural design and troubleshooting within AWS and Azure ecosystems.
• Optimizing high-availability environments and complex migrations using AI-assisted workflows.
• Contributing to a culture that prioritizes continuous learning, flat hierarchies, and fresh ideas.

Requirements

• Expertise in designing and implementing cloud architectures on AWS and Azure.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo).
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Ability to use AI tools for code generation and workflow optimization (e.g., Vibe Coding).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Puppet.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with Opsgenie.
• Natural language prompting skills for accelerating architectural design and troubleshooting.
