As a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions for our diverse client base. You will collaborate closely with development teams, architects, and other stakeholders to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate operational tasks, and ensure optimal performance and reliability of our cloud environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive the adoption of best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate operational tasks.
• Ensure optimal performance and reliability of cloud environments.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions.
• Drive the adoption of best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Seasoned Cloud Professional: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• DevOps Advocate: Deep understanding of DevOps principles and extensive experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Containerization & Orchestration Expert: Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes, with practical experience in deploying and managing containerized applications at scale.
• Scripting and Automation Wizard: Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, coupled with a passion for automating repetitive tasks.
• Monitoring & Logging Aficionado: Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch) to ensure the health and performance of systems.
• Security-Conscious: Familiarity with cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance requirements.
• Collaborative Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Problem Solver: A proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
