Introduction

Join Grafana Labs to develop the Interactive Learning Plugin, an in-product experience designed to help millions of users master observability without leaving their dashboards. This role bridges deep product engineering with developer advocacy, creating a scalable platform where engineers and non-technical contributors can author high-quality content, ensuring a seamless onboarding process for complex tools like Prometheus and Loki.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Interactive Learning Plugin to enhance user onboarding for observability tools.
• Create a scalable platform for both technical and non-technical content creators.
• Apply agentic workflows to rapidly prototype, generate comprehensive test suites, and manage complex refactors.
• Maintain high standards for open-source software development.
• Contribute to the broader observability community through documentation and technical design.
• Manage production systems in a DevOps environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience in TypeScript and Go.
• Familiarity with a Kubernetes-driven ecosystem.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and agentic workflows (e.g., prototyping, test suite generation, refactoring).
• Ability to define the evolution of AI-assisted development at scale.
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Loki.
• Understanding of DevOps environments and managing production systems.
• Commitment to open-source software standards.

Nice to Have

• Experience with frontier models such as Claude 3.5 Opus, GPT-4, and Gemini Pro.
• Daily use of Cursor and Claude Code.
