Senior Design Engineer - Memory Subsystem

Introduction

NVIDIA is actively looking for passionate, highly motivated, and creative Senior Design Engineers to join a team focused on developing state-of-the-art memory subsystem components for their leading GPUs and SOCs. Responsibilities

• Own micro-architecture and RTL development for design modules.
• Micro-architect features to meet performance, power, and area requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware architects to define critical features.
• Work with verification teams to ensure the correctness of implemented features.
• Engage with timing, VLSI, and physical design teams to guarantee the design meets timing, interface needs, and is routable.
• Cooperate with FPGA and software teams for design prototyping and software testing.
• Participate in post-silicon verification and debugging.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of design experience.
• Experience in micro-architecture and RTL development for complex designs.
• Familiarity with design and verification tools (VCS or equivalent simulation tools, debug tools like Debussy, GDB).
• Comprehensive understanding of the ASIC design flow, including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, prototyping, timing analysis, floor-planning, ECO, bring-up, and lab debug.
• Expertise in Verilog.

Nice to Have

• Design experience in memory subsystem or network interconnect IP.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Scripting knowledge (Python/Perl/shell).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work as part of a team.
